Slit Lamp Breath Shield for slit lamp with convergent (Greenough) type binocular stereomicroscope. This size is original for HAAG STREIT, but also fits other brand slit lamps.

Fits Topcon SL-3, 3D, 3E, Haag Streit 900BM, convergent Mentor models and similar instruments.

If your slit lamp has a removable mounting screw located on the microscope arm from the doctor's side (e.g. newest HS BQ900) or from the patient's side (most models), this shield more likely will fit. Please check image for dimensions.

Material: Acrylic
Easy to clean (but not resistant to alcohol). See cleaning instructions below. Do not use alcohol: stress crazing, which appears as an area of tiny micro-cracks may occur.
Good resistance to scratches
Thick (1/8 in / 3mm), but not flexible. Can break if dropped on a hard surface.

Cleaning instructions for ACRYLIC slit lamp breath shield:

Use mild soap or detergent and plenty of lukewarm water. Use a clean soft cloth, applying only light pressure. Rinse with clear water and dry by blotting with a damp cloth.

For disinfection use 3% hydrogen peroxide. Grease or oil may be removed with kerosene.

Do Not Use: alcohol, window cleaning sprays, kitchen scouring compounds, or solvents. Damage may occur.
